Sport Photography Across South West Wales

Sport has always been a huge part of my life, so photographing it feels completely natural to me. As a qualified football referee and lifelong sports fan, I understand the rhythm of a game, how quickly things can change and, importantly, where the next moment might happen.

Of course, the action matters. The goals, tackles, saves, celebrations and those split-second moments that can decide a game. But sport is about people too, and that's often where my favourite images are found. The concentration before kick-off, the frustration after a missed chance, the reaction from the touchline, supporters celebrating together, or the sheer joy of someone achieving something they've worked incredibly hard for.

My approach is to capture both sides of it: strong, dynamic sporting images alongside the emotion, personality and stories happening around them. Whether it's grassroots football, a major sporting event or an individual athlete, I want the final collection to show not just what happened, but what it meant to the people who were there.
